Our residents love to get out and enjoy all that Pensacola has to offer. Escambia County FlexTransit came out today to speak with residents regarding their services. Residents got a first hand look at one of the transportation vehicles and learned about the program, including the cost and how to schedule a ride.

Young historian, Sawyer Richardson (15 yrs old), came to speak with our residents today. Even at a young age, Sawyer gave an informative and interesting speech. Many of the residents shared with him heartfelt memories of their loved ones who served or are serving in the military. Wesley Haven Villa would like to wish all veterans and their families a heartfelt thank you for your service and sacrifice. Your dedication allows us to enjoy the freedoms we have today. THANK YOU!

Today, residents enjoyed the honorary service with John Griffin. Mr. Griffin comes annually to celebrate our veterans and honor their service as well as their family members. Dr. Spain shared a story regarding his son. Wesley Haven Villa loves to show our appreciate for our veterans, their families and all who served.

Wesley Haven Villa is honored to recognize our resident veterans and their families that are also serving. Decorations adorn the dining tables as well as flags along a courtyard path. Photos are displayed to honor our veterans and their family. Later this afternoon, we will be having a honorary program as well.

As we age, it is wonderful to have friends. Better still to have friends that have become family. Ms. Kathleen was excited to celebrate a belated birthday with her friends from out of town. Happy birthday Ms. Kathleen!

Trick or Treat at Wesley Haven was a success. The residents loved having the Preschool children over to hand out candy to. All smiles and laughter. Residents and staff lined up ready to fill the bags and buckets of our sweet visitors. The children were amazing and used wonderful manners and had GREAT costumes. One child squealed as she walked out the door, “ BEST DAY EVER”. Which means Our mission was accomplished ❤️❤️🎃🎃🎃🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️

Residents eagerly waited to board the shuttle for Thursday night's outing last week. It was a wonderful night to see Ballet Pensacola's "Dracula" at Pensacola Little Theater!
