Our volunteers after a long clinic day still come back for West Florida AHEC To***co SMART training, ensuring everyone at the clinic is well-versed on ways we can help patients quit smoking & gain better heart rates, carbon monoxide levels decrease, & decrease blood presure! Risk of cardiovascular disease is reduced & risks of lung cancers are decreased. Ni****ne Replacement Therapy with group support classes can counter act the sad moods associated with quitting! Smoking is a physical addiction, culturally & psychological coping mechanism that creates a barrier to quit! There are 28 carcinogenic chemicals in to***co!
