We had such a wonderful time at our Easter Paint & Sip Social! 🎨🐣 Our residents truly enjoyed getting creative while celebrating the season with beautiful spring-inspired paintings. 🌸 The snacks were a big hit, and it made the experience even more fun as everyone relaxed, laughed, and spent quality time together.

A special thank-you to James for hosting such an amazing event! We appreciate him for providing all of the canvases and paint, and for bringing his fun, energetic personality that always keeps our residents engaged and smiling. We can’t wait for the next one! 💛

Did you know that about 1.1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease (PD)? 🌷

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.

What does Occupational Therapy look like❓

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

During Occupational Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the amazing therapists who help our rehab patients rebuild confidence, independence, and the skills that make daily life meaningful. 🫶

A little time can mean the world. 🌎

April is Volunteer Month, and we are celebrating the amazing people of all ages who share their time with our residents. From calling bingo to painting nails 💅, performing music 🎵 to simply sitting and chatting, our volunteers bring an essential joy and connection to our community.
