We love the validation and openness from their new Pediatrics team to better support our mamas and babies when transfer to a higher level of care is needed. We are so thankful to be included! Yesterday was a WILD day at BloomWell! THREE sweet babes joined us IN the birth center in a matter of nine hours and after MANY hours of labor combined!

🐝 baby number one was a sweet surprise girl whose first time parents worked so hard to have the birth they always wanted! Born into her daddy’s hands this precious girlie could not be more loved. Much thanks to their doula, Amanda, with and photographer Kayla, with for the support and love that surrounded this family. Can’t wait to see the pics!

🐝 baby number 2 was another sweet girl whose family has known .midwife since they were all teenagers. #5 for this crew, she came into the world with a bang on on her own time, after many hours of labor.

🐝 baby number 3 was a sweet surprise BOY whose mama, daddy, and doula (our very own ) worked SO long and hard for two days to bring him into the world! And not only was he born on 9/11 he weighed 9 pounds 11 ounces! Another first time family to achieve their birth goals with our team!

It was a full day and we have full hearts—and are SO proud of these families for trusting us as they all worked separately (but also together!) to bring their babies into the world the way they wanted to!

It’s another bee-day at BloomWell but this time it’s one of our own! Happy Birthday to our favorite birth center co-owner, administrator, and lead birth assistant!! Lindsey keeps everybody on time and everything moving like a well-oiled machine and we are so thankful for her!!

Last night we welcomed a sweet surprise girl to one of our precious repeat families—and what a powerful mama! After a long and difficult labor and pushing for hours with an asynclitic baby in her first birth that ended with being transferred from us for a hospital forceps delivery, this mama overcame SO many mental and emotional roadblocks and trusted us to walk beside her again as she had the redemptive birth she’d always wanted and that we so badly wanted to help her have! After arriving at the birth center 9cm, she listened to her instincts and was given space and time to absorb and process this birth experience as new and different for several hours before courageously and swiftly pushing her baby out. What a privilege and honor to be able to serve this family again and use the tools we’ve built to give them their power back. THIS is why we exist! 🐝💕

Today brought another sweet baby boy whose brother was Amber’s 11th catch in clinical four years ago! It’s always SO fun to serve families who seek out our team after having a birth in another setting with one of our team members. We couldn’t be more privileged or honored! We could not be more proud of today’s parents who navigated and overcame the challenges brought by the last week of their last pregnancy and welcomed their sweet surprise girl with such strength early this morning! And we are so privileged to have helped them navigate the changes their birth brought as the entire team rallied around them to help them bring baby into the world exactly like they’d hoped and planned (with a few adjustments along the way)! Happy birthday, sweet girl! And CONGRATULATIONS mom and dad!

Another baby, another night full of synchronicities!! This family came to us after four hospital births with our beloved Jenny Allen, and no one would have predicted that she’d go from 5cm to complete in less than an hour and push her babe out on Jenny’s old birth stool, completely encaul at 11:11pm!! Happy birthday, Sweet Boy 💕🐝

Our repeat families mean so much to us and it’s so exciting to watch them grow! This sweet little surprise gender babe joined us on Saturday weighing in at 10.5lbs—Mamas biggest baby so far! Little MISS came into the world with a bang and her family couldn’t be more smitten over her chunks and rolls. It was so heart warming watching the entire family explore every inch of her and love on her so deeply! We are so proud of them and so overjoyed for their new family of 6! Happy Birthday Baby Girl 🐝💕

The repeat babes keep on coming!! Last night we welcomed a sweet surprise girl after two boys, the last of which was born in the same room last January. This family is so special to us as they chose to birth with us again without hesitation even after a complicated shoulder dystocia last time. This time, shared decision making and appropriate planning helped this mama have a seamless and smooth delivery on her terms! What a special birthday to be a part of!! Happy birthday sweet girl! 💕🐝

Aren’t these footprints just the most precious things?! They belong to another sweet baby girl who was in a hurry to join us last night! She came barely 90 minutes after her parents arrived at the birth center with just enough time for them to settle into the tub. We cannot WAIT to hear how her big sister who faithfully attended every one of her mom’s prenatal appointments reacted to meeting her!

Yesterday a sweet family welcomed their MUCH awaited baby girl at 41 weeks after two days of labor and many weeks of contractions. Challenged by a nuchal hand, a short cord, and 9 pounds of baby, this mama and her team worked all day at the birth center and after trying everything possible, made the tough decision with Amber’s recommendation to move to the hospital for additional help getting baby out safely. Shortly before midnight, everyone was able to breathe a sigh of relief as baby joined us safely via a surgical birth. Thank you to the team at HCA Florida West for the smooth transition! Happy birthday, baby girl!! You are so loved! 🐝🐝🐝
