⨠October Birth Announcements āØ
October was a month full of strength, surprises, teamwork, and so much joy. Weāre honored to share the stories of the five beautiful babies who joined the Wild Rose family this month. š¹
⨠Leila
First up is sweet Leila. Her momma worked incredibly hard for her first VBACālaboring for hours at home with grit and determination. When we noticed significant meconium and momma needed some pain relief, we made the call to transfer. Upon arrival, she was complete and simply waiting on medication to catch up. With a VBAC-supportive hospital team cheering her on, her momma pushed her earthside vaginally. A strong, beautiful birth.
⨠Lilliane
Next is Miss Lilliane. Her momma also planned for a home VBAC and contracted intensely at home for a full week. As her body worked and worked, we had an honest discussion about protecting her uterine integrityāand together made the call to arrange her birth safely in the hospital. Once they arrived, birth happened quickly and smoothly. Her momma says this was her best experience yet out of her three belly births. Pure joy.
⨠Scout
Then came little Miss Scout, born in the quiet, sacred hours of the early morning. Her momma worked powerfully with her dad by her side, and sitting just behind her were five excited older siblingsāwaiting, watching, and ready to meet their surprise baby. Her birth was calm, sweet, and full of love.
⨠Aria
Little Miss Ariaās story is one of resilience. Her momma spent nearly 7 weeks in the hospital after Aria created herself a significant cord knotātight, tiny, and risky. With incredible collaboration from Dr. Patel and the team at Ascension (who updated us at every visit), momma and baby were kept safe through every step. Aria made her arrival at 34 weeks weighing 4 lbs 9 oz, small but mighty, and absolutely perfect.
⨠Alexander
And last, but certainly not least, Mr. Alexander. This little guy surprised everyone by arriving in under 3 hoursāespecially since his big siblingās birth involved a long 56-hour labor and transfer. By the time we walked in, we were greeted with a healthy momma, a healthy baby, and even the placenta shortly after. A fast, beautiful, redemptive birth.
