✨ October Birth Announcements ✨

October was a month full of strength, surprises, teamwork, and so much joy. We’re honored to share the stories of the five beautiful babies who joined the Wild Rose family this month. 🌹

✨ Leila

First up is sweet Leila. Her momma worked incredibly hard for her first VBAC—laboring for hours at home with grit and determination. When we noticed significant meconium and momma needed some pain relief, we made the call to transfer. Upon arrival, she was complete and simply waiting on medication to catch up. With a VBAC-supportive hospital team cheering her on, her momma pushed her earthside vaginally. A strong, beautiful birth.

✨ Lilliane

Next is Miss Lilliane. Her momma also planned for a home VBAC and contracted intensely at home for a full week. As her body worked and worked, we had an honest discussion about protecting her uterine integrity—and together made the call to arrange her birth safely in the hospital. Once they arrived, birth happened quickly and smoothly. Her momma says this was her best experience yet out of her three belly births. Pure joy.

✨ Scout

Then came little Miss Scout, born in the quiet, sacred hours of the early morning. Her momma worked powerfully with her dad by her side, and sitting just behind her were five excited older siblings—waiting, watching, and ready to meet their surprise baby. Her birth was calm, sweet, and full of love.

✨ Aria

Little Miss Aria’s story is one of resilience. Her momma spent nearly 7 weeks in the hospital after Aria created herself a significant cord knot—tight, tiny, and risky. With incredible collaboration from Dr. Patel and the team at Ascension (who updated us at every visit), momma and baby were kept safe through every step. Aria made her arrival at 34 weeks weighing 4 lbs 9 oz, small but mighty, and absolutely perfect.

✨ Alexander

And last, but certainly not least, Mr. Alexander. This little guy surprised everyone by arriving in under 3 hours—especially since his big sibling’s birth involved a long 56-hour labor and transfer. By the time we walked in, we were greeted with a healthy momma, a healthy baby, and even the placenta shortly after. A fast, beautiful, redemptive birth.

October was quite a month, and our hearts are full. We’re so grateful for five healthy mommas, five healthy babies, and five families growing in love and strength.
Here’s to the Wild Rose families who trusted us to walk alongside them in their journeys. 🌹✨

Wild Rose has a new Rose to introduce to you! Quite a few of our families have met her and absolutely love her and I’m thrilled to share her with you!! Meet Midwife Sheradia šŸ¤
Hey, I’m Sheradia!

I was first introduced to birth work while serving on medical missions in the South Pacific Islands. During that time, God placed a deep passion for midwifery in my heart — and I knew it was something I was truly called to pursue.

When I returned home, I began midwifery school and later had the incredible opportunity to work in a high-volume birth center in Colorado. Those years taught me so much about the strength, beauty, and sacredness of birth. I learned the importance of trust, faith, and the honor of walking alongside women through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives.

Now, my husband and I have made a home in Florida, and I’m so grateful for every new chapter this journey brings. Every birth I attend is such a blessing — a reminder of how perfectly God designed our bodies and how truely beautiful this calling is.

✨When we sit down for a consult, we always ask one thing… **What’s your WHY?**✨
Why are you choosing this journey?

Some say ā€œI saw it on Instagram,ā€ or ā€œMy friend did it.ā€
But others say redemption… healing… God led me here.

Can I be honest?
Your birth won’t look like the Instagram birth—and here’s why…
We’re all on different journeys. šŸ’«
Music and pretty edits can make anything look perfect, but birth?
Birth is raw. It’s hard. It brings you to your knees.
It changes you in the deepest way.

On the other side… two new humans are born:
Your baby—and YOU.
You meet a version of yourself you didn’t even know existed while doing one of the hardest things you’ll ever do.
Birthing your baby and yourself.

And then, in the middle of labor, there’s this moment…
You realize you’re standing in everything you prayed for—
🌿 A healthy pregnancy
🌿 A healthy baby
🌿 A safe home birth
🌿 Being surrounded by the people God handpicked for this moment

And it hits you. You get emotional. You cling to that sacred space.
Because every book, every bit of prep, every prayer…
Led you right to this threshold.

And then—you meet the tiny human you’ve been creating.
You look at your baby and think…
Thank You, God.
I did it.
We did it. šŸ¤āœØ

✨ Now that all of our sweet September babes have been named, here’s their story… ✨

🌿 Jett — Jett decided to join us on Labor Day! His mama (a first time mama) worked hard through the night and into the morning with Jett’s dad by her side. Their amazing doula joined early, and mama handled each wave like a pro. When the Wild Rose team arrived, it was go time! Mama listened to her body and roared her sweet baby down and out. Not a dry eye in the room… nothing beats a šŸ’™

🌸 Elisabeth — This girl didn’t waste any time! Elisabeth was born just 1 hour and 40 minutes after contractions began — but not without a little excitement first (there may or may not have been a tiny fire, and we’re not talking about the ring of fire šŸ”„). Her big sister caught her while her brothers waited to see if they’d get another brother or sister. Surprise… it’s a girl! šŸ’•

🌊 Tomlin — Tomlin’s mama got her second VBAC right at home, in the water — calm, peaceful, and smooth. His dad adjusted mama and even did some acupuncture to help things along. Labor started slow with board games by the pool, but when it picked up, it really picked up! Soon we had a sweet, squishy little guy in our arms. šŸ’«

šŸŠ Clementine — Miss Clementine kept everyone guessing for days! Her mama was sure she’d be pregnant forever. On the big day, things finally kicked into gear — so much so that we all had to grab our lunch to go before anyone in the restaurant witnessed a birth! Back home, we ate, walked, and then welcomed a beautiful baby surrounded by family, love, and joy. Surprise….its a girlšŸƒ

šŸ’› Chapman (aka Chappie G) — Chappie’s mama worked so hard for her second VBAC and her first home birth. As a nurse, she had to lean into faith, trust her team, and surrender. After walking around very dilated for days, baby Chap made his entrance quickly and powerfully. Surrounded by prayer, worship, and love — we thanked God for another beautiful birth story. šŸ™šŸ¼

✨ We are so thankful for every moment, every family, and every sweet September baby who joined us earthside. 🌼

It doesn’t matter how many babies a woman has had—each birth is its own powerful, unique story. Every time I’m invited into that sacred space, I’m reminded of the incredible strength women carry.

Birth asks for surrender, trust, and deep belief in yourself. In the harder moments, it calls for even more—more focus, more letting go, more faith in your body’s wisdom.

I sit in awe, humbled to witness it. Sometimes across the room, sometimes right beside you—always present, always holding space. My role is to remind you that you are safe, supported, and strong…because you are.

✨ Here’s to women, to birth, and to the incredible power within us. ✨
