Our clinic does not file insurance and we do not file medical insurance claims, however we are able to provide you with any itemized receipts with medical billing codes so that you may submit claims on your own behalf. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards as well as Care Credit. You may elect to have your labs performed at a lab that accepts your insurance however we cannot guarantee that your labs will be covered by your insurance company. We hope this covers the information you are seeking, however a staff member will be happy to address any additional questions you may have after clinic hours. OFFERING COVID-19 ANTIBODY TESTING
Medical experts agree that testing will be the key to normalizing our lives. Antibody testing (from blood) provides important information in decision making. There are two antibodies the body produces. IgM antibodies are produced by the body in response to a new infection (within 3-5 days) and the IgG (up to 21 days and may last for months or years). The IgG antibody is thought to represent some immunity however longer studies will be necessary to make these predictions. It would be the same for antibodies that form from a vaccine. Many experts believe that antibodies from an infection are more protective than antibodies from a vaccine. Pensacola Wellness is pleased to offer these tests from Access Labs. If both tests are negative for antibodies then one is considered at risk for infection. Access labs is not accepting insurance for this testing. The corona virus is lurking invisibly around the world and now in our neighborhood. Despite efforts to contain the spread, experts are predicting pe*******on into all cities in all states. What seems clear is that the elderly and medically vulnerable seem to be at greatest risk for a severe case and possibly death. While age cannot be avoided, wellness at any age is a process that requires good choices and discipline. Perhaps this is a wake up for all to take better care of ourselves. One once said "Today is a good as you will look or feel if you do nothing”. Pensacola Wellness is proud of all who work to stay healthy.
