The Gastroenterology Department provides modern diagnostic and therapeutic assessments of diseases of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, pancreas, and biliary tract. Some areas of special interest are: diseases of the liver, motor disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer screening, absorptive disorders and nutri
tional support. The Gastroenterology Department utilizes advanced techniques such as the capsule endoscopy and state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
