I am truly in awe of everything this rescue pulls off. Adjusting the dogs that come through their doors is always the highlight of my month! If you’re looking for an EXCELLENT place to donate to this year, I HIGHLY recommend supporting these miracle workers and their new fund!
As we approach the end of another year, it is my duty (for which I am grateful) as the president of Saving with Soul Pet Rescue, to do our annual nudge to remind our loyal (oh-so-loyal) supporters that it's a good time to make those tax-deductible donations to your favorite charities.
But first... a review of 2025.
2025 was a HUGE year for us in the get-'er-done department - in fact, we accomplished nearly all of our goals from this time last year, and then some. Not to dwell on the past (but what the heck??), in 2025 we...
1. Spent $12,500 sterilizing privately owned bully breed dogs under our Florida Panhandle SNiPit program;
2. Built a Beautiful Rainbow Bridge for the public to honor their memories of beloved pets who have passed; https://savewithsoul.com/rainbow-bridge-2/
3. Took in more than 200 Special Souls to Save dogs and cats;
4. Opened the one-of-a-kind PAWds at PUPVille Dog Adoption Village; https://savewithsoul.com/dog-adoption-village/
5. Opened the Mythical Farm which houses dogs with special behavioral needs; https://savewithsoul.com/the-mythical-farm/
6. Opened The Groom Room grooming spa. https://savewithsoul.com/the-groom-room/
and...
We HIRED AN ONSITE Veterinarian and vet team!
In mid-July, we brought on a full-time vet team to care for the 100++ animals in the rescue. Initially, our vet team focused exclusively on our dogs and cats, which kept them busy as we worked through our start-up nuts (tee hee) and bolts. But now that we have nearly six months under our collars, we are (almost) ready to open our clinic to the community.
Our veterinarian choose to work for us, a non-profit rescue, when she could have had her pick of clinics who could, to put it bluntly, compensate her far more generously than we could dream of. Her dream was (and is) to help companion animals in need live the life they deserve, so working at a rescue was a no-brainer for her.
And we are happy to help her achieve her dream!
The clinic will open to the public in early 2026 and will be able to provide both basic wellness care like vaccines and diagnostic testing, as well as urgent care for sick and injured dogs and cats. Our top priority is to be able to offer our clinic services to everyone at a reasonable cost, but we are also passionate about being able to help lower-income members of our community obtain veterinary care even if they truly can't afford it.
That's where you come in!
We have established a special fund for the Clinic where we will put financial gifts made specifically to help pay for veterinary care for local families in need. We would love to kick off the fund (tentatively called "Everyday Miracles") with a nice nest egg so we can start Making Everyday Miracles Happen as soon as possible in 2026!
Would you like to be among to first to show your support for the program? Yes? Great!
