Our MLS students had a great time celebrating Lab Week yesterday. We had several bingo games, bio bag races, a lab coat fashion show, guess the candy p**p, and so much more. Fun was had by all! It was a great break before finals next week. Happy Lab Week, everyone!!

We are sad to post that one of our MLS alumni, Justin Parker, passed away on February 14, 2025. Justin graduated several years ago. He was a wonderful person with qualities we cherish in our program: kind, hard working, inquisitive, and a team player.

He persevered in school while waiting for a kidney transplant. We were so honored to have him in our program and so proud of how hard he fought to keep up with classes. I am so glad I was at his graduation and was able to wish him well. He leaves a hole in the medical lab field and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

It is always great to see our alumni when they return to visit. We want to send out a huge thank you to Bethany Schaffer and Rachael Nelson from Baptist Hospital. These two alumni came this week to Immunohematology lab and shared some great case studies with our students. Thank you both. We really appreciate it.
