We had an amazing turnout yesterday for our World American Artist Day with Patricia Regan, Wilbur Deuvall, and Garrett Allen, First City Art of Pensacola. Patricia Regan was our featured Artist. Her paintings and drawings are simply breathtaking. The craftsmanship featured in each paintings reminded you of some of the most famous Artist from around the world. Mr. Wilbur also displayed some of his acrylic paintings which were also breathtaking. Garrett Allen showed us first hand how he makes some of the most beautiful pottery with the First City Arts of Pensacola. We topped the afternoon off with Jim Andrews, Saxophonist and some delicious appetizers prepared by Chef Cameron Williams complimented with a delicious cocktail. We would like to thank our Activity Department and Sales Department for putting together this amazing event. Thank you to everyone who attended.

There's nothing better than giving yourself a little bit of self love. Today, we got a special treat from Courtney Morrissey of Gentiva Hospice along with her daughters, Lily and Laney. Our ladies were treated to a facial and manicures that left their skin and nails looking and feeling smooth as silk for Pamper Yourself Day. Come experience zestful activities only at Summer Vista. Thank you, Courtney Morrissey for an amazing experience.

Here's why we like this challenge so much.... the object of the game is to stack the solo cups using a rubber band and yarn by pulling the rubber band to fit over each cup as they stack them. This requires verbal communication and team work. Watch the video to see how the ladies accomplished the task.
