This Memorial Day weekend, while many gather for barbecues and beach trips, one local family sits next to an empty chair, deeply feeling the absence of their fallen soldier. For them, and thousands of military families across the country, this weekend is not the start of summer. It is a sacred, painful reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by their loved one in service to our nation. Let us pause amidst our celebrations to remember that the freedom we enjoy this weekend was bought and paid for by brave individuals who never made it home. Join Summer Vista as we stand in solidarity with the families they left behind.

Everyone had a fantastic time learning the ropes, strategy, and enjoying some friendly competition. Ms. Judith came out as our winner for today, winning 27,000 if we had played for money. Stay tuned for our next game. Who is ready to deal the next hand.

Our recent porch outing bought so much bright energy to our residents, especially Ms. Gloria. Holding the doll provided her with a deep sense of purpose, safety, and calmness.
