Recently the Navy EOD school (explosive ordnance disposal) in Pensacola had their Five Star annual inspection specific to food services. Navy food service officer, Paul Poling, from Naval Air Station Pensacola, made a special trip to recognize GCE assistant project/storeroom manager Michael Binuya for an outstanding job. Michael was presented with a certificate of appreciation for keeping his storeroom areas clean and well organized while maintaining 100% on the required inventory.

Michael's knowledge, dedication to his role and his team, are greatly appreciated by GCE and our partner Naval Air Station Pensacola.

Each of the following team members have just completed their one-year anniversary with GCE. All three have been working hard and are truly dedicated to their team. Congratulations to Dakota Tate on his recent promotion to GCE shift lead at Naval Air Station Pensacola on our GCE custodial contract.

Chris Johnson, project manager shared, "Dakota worked very hard to learn routes and asked to be mentored by GCE management. He wanted to be shown various examples of leadership styles used to manage and lead team members through their day-to-day activities. He has made a long-term commitment to his GCE team members. Dakota has great initiative and is truly dedicated to the work performed, a positive relationship with our customer, and cares about every team member at this contract site."

Site leadership shared the following, "Jennifer has always displayed an exceptional work ethic and dedication to the team. From hurricane emergencies to when a team member wasn't available to come to work, she covered the need. She understands the importance of contract requirements being met and providing the best customer service possible. Jennifer continues to learn and develop new leadership skills that benefit the team and the customer. We are excited to see her grow in this new role."

Congratulations to our GCE team member Devory Burns on her recent promotion to Quality/Health/Safety and Environmental Manager (QHSE) on our Fort Knox contract in Kentucky.

GCE management on site noted, "Devory has extensive knowledge about all the buildings we take care of on post for our military customer. She understands the complexities of the contract and the needs of both GCE and our customer. She is truly passionate about the work she does and is dedicated to the GCE team at Fort Knox."
