As this year comes to a close and we move into the next, I want to pause with gratitude.

To my clients, past and present, thank you for trusting me with deeply personal experiences and for showing up for yourselves in ways that are not always easy. Bearing witness to resilience, healing, and growth is one of the greatest honors of this work.

Feeling overwhelmed does not mean you are failing.

Overwhelm is often a sign that too much has been asked of your nervous system for too long. For many adults, especially those with anxiety or trauma histories, overwhelm can show up as shutdown, irritability, avoidance, or harsh self talk.

These are not personal flaws. They are signals.

Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand what is underneath the overwhelm, and find ways to move forward that feel more sustainable.

Counseling, I want to express my gratitude to each of you. Your trust has been an incredible honor.

Seven years ago yesterday, l opened with a mission to provide compassionate mental health support, and thanks to your courage, that vision has blossomed. Each story of resilience has enriched my life and reinforced my dedication.
