IN LOSING SOMEONE, BE KIND TO YOURSELF.

When we lose someone (whether from a move, an end of a relationship, or from death), be kind to yourself and let yourself grieve.

Friendships are to be treasured. After all, our friends are who we let in. Who we invest in. They bring good and bad into our lives. Our friendships are what make our lives richer. Our past, our history, our lives are full and more rich because of the people we let in. Cherish every one.

Our friends create the “we” in our stories. They help create the experiences, the laughter, the sadness, and the whole, complete picture.

Even if you forget to actually tell them how much they mean to you, they know and you know.

In Memory of someone special in my life. ❤️❤️❤️

Welcome to MJO Psychiatry.

My office is located at 2426 W Cornerstone Ct in Peoria, Illinois.

I am a general adult psychiatrist who is willing to work with you to achieve your goals in mental health. I wholeheartedly believe in working as a team with you, your general practitioner and your therapist, if you have one.

I am a solo practitioner and will be the only person you will be in contact with while you are under my care. I run a cash only practice and the fee schedule will be provided upon our initial interaction.

I was trained at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and I am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

In response to the coronavirus, I prefer to perform all new patient appointments in person while wearing a mask. Further appointments can be done virtually if that is your preference.

Thank you for your consideration and please reach out to me to schedule and appointment or with any questions.
