What is the “Disney Rash”?
If you’ve ever spent a full day walking around theme parks or outdoors in the heat and noticed a blotchy, itchy rash on your lower legs, you’re not alone. This is called exercise-induced vasculitis (nicknamed the Disney Rash).
👟 Why it happens:
Long hours of walking in warm, humid weather can cause tiny blood vessels in your legs to leak, leading to redness, swelling, or itchiness. It’s common, not dangerous, and usually clears up in about a week.
✨ What you can do:
• Rest & elevate your legs
• Apply cool compresses
• Wear compression socks
• Stay well-hydrated
⚠️ See a doctor if the rash is very painful, blistering, or spreading, to rule out other causes.
💡 We help active individuals recover, heal, and stay strong—whether it’s from a long day of walking or from sports injuries.
