What is the “Disney Rash”?
If you’ve ever spent a full day walking around theme parks or outdoors in the heat and noticed a blotchy, itchy rash on your lower legs, you’re not alone. This is called exercise-induced vasculitis (nicknamed the Disney Rash).

👟 Why it happens:
Long hours of walking in warm, humid weather can cause tiny blood vessels in your legs to leak, leading to redness, swelling, or itchiness. It’s common, not dangerous, and usually clears up in about a week.

✨ What you can do:
• Rest & elevate your legs
• Apply cool compresses
• Wear compression socks
• Stay well-hydrated

⚠️ See a doctor if the rash is very painful, blistering, or spreading, to rule out other causes.

💡 We help active individuals recover, heal, and stay strong—whether it’s from a long day of walking or from sports injuries.

🚨 Joe Burrow Injury Update 🚨
Bengals QB Joe Burrow suffered a turf toe injury with ligament damage during Sunday’s win over Jacksonville. Reports suggest he could be out several weeks, possibly up to 3 months if surgery is required.
But what exactly is turf toe? 🤔

👉 Turf toe is a sprain of the big toe joint caused by hyperextension (when the toe bends upward too far). It’s common in athletes who play on artificial turf because the surface doesn’t “give” like natural grass.
Symptoms:
Pain, swelling, and stiffness in the big toe
Difficulty pushing off when running or cutting
Worsens with continued play
Treatment:
✅ Rest & activity modification
✅ Ice & anti-inflammatory meds
✅ Taping or stiff-soled shoes to limit movement
✅ Physical therapy for mobility & strength
🚑 In severe cases (like Burrow’s), surgery may be necessary

💬 Do you think the Bengals can survive without Burrow, or will this injury derail their season? Drop your thoughts below! ⬇️

👣Plantar Fibroma:What You Need to Know👣
AKA: Ledderhose Disease

A plantar fibroma is a firm lump in the arch of your foot, caused by a thickening in the plantar fascia. While it’s benign, it can cause pain and make walking uncomfortable—especially if it grows over time.

✅ Treatment Options May Include:

🔹Orthotics or padding to reduce pressure on
the lump
🔹Stretching & physical therapy to relieve
tension in the fascia
🔹Steroid injections to reduce pain and
inflammation
🔹 Topical Verapamil Cream
♦️Alternative injection’s: Hyaluronidase, PRP,
Amnio
♦️Shockwave therapy in certain cases
🔹Surgical removal (for severe or persistent cases)

The earlier you address it, the better your chances of avoiding more invasive procedures. If you notice a lump in your arch that isn’t going away, don’t ignore it—get evaluated by a foot specialist.

The new school year has begun, and with it, a new sports season.
If your child is struggling with flat feet, arch, or heel pain—especially if they are active athletes—it could be Sever’s disease, a common but painful condition affecting growing children. The good news is that orthotics can help alleviate the pain, allowing your child to participate in their favorite activities without discomfort. 👣
