Words cannot describe the joy of seeing so many young ladies and their families find their dream prom dress!! Thank you to all who donated dresses, shoes, jewelry, and makeup. Thank you to the It Takes a Village of Peoria, Inc. team for all of your hard work. Thank you to the men of Phi Beta Sigma for always supporting us from the beginning to the end. Thank you to Silver Star Chapter #74 OES PHA for your partnership in helping provide a class act affair! Thank you to Mrs. Illinois Black United States Jaleesha Allen for serving as a personal stylist for the girls! They loved you! Thank you to Township Supervisor LaTrina Leary for allowing us the opportunity to utilize the perfect community space for our 7th Annual FREE Prom Dress Giveaway!! Please keep us in mind when considering prom dress donations….we make prom dreams come true! ❤️💃🏾

The It Takes a Village of Peoria, Inc. FREE prom dress giveaway is today! No registration requirement. Just show up at the Peoria Township Relief Office (427 W Main St.) between 12p-4p to select your dream gown. All high school students attending prom are welcomed.

SAVE THE DATE: Join us for the 3rd annual We Love the Southside Community Event. The fun will happen on Saturday, August 17th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 919 S. Matthew Street.
There will be free haircuts and plenty of fun.
School supplies are among many cool items that we will give away.
We will see you there.
