Illinois Eye Center will be in this Friday, August 23rd from 9am until 11 am performing Visual Acuity Screenings. Visual acuity refers to how well a person can see clearly at a given distance which determines results such as 20/20, 20/40, etc. Their machine is similar to what is used at the DMV when reviewing your drivers license and requires no advance preparation to participate in. However, if applicable, we prefer you to wear your glasses or contacts as you normally would- our screening will help to determine how well your current prescription is working for you.
