Our Story
The Bixby Eye Center was originally founded in 1947 by Dr. Jerome Conalogue. Dr. Bixby partnered with Dr. Conalogue for nine years and then purchased the practice in 1977. For more than three decades, Dr. Bixby has been providing quality eye care to local residents. Dr. Bixby specializes in even the most difficult and hard to fit contact lenses. Since 2016, Dr. Bixby has been joined by three experienced optometrists: Dr. Lasken, Dr. Jensen, and Dr. Kern. With these additions we have been able to better serve our patients in all areas, especially in the care and management of eye disease. We also specialize in children’s vision and visual training to ensure best vision for a lifetime.
