Our Care Center crew had a blast this past Thursday when they all participated in a Christmas Scavenger Hunt! From finding residents dressed in festive colors, writing sweet notes to coworkers, and making snow angels to singing loud for all to hear (especially Shelly) and reenactments from their favorite holiday movies, they all brought so many smiles and laughs to everyone! We are so grateful for such a fun group here!

The McKnight's Senior Living Pinnacle Awards just recognized EverTrue leaders Shelby Cox and Kristy Krumwiede for their outstanding dedication and impact in senior living and long-term care!

💫Shelby Cox, Senior Living Counselor at EverTrue Meramec Bluffs (Ballwin, MO), received the Inspiration Award. Shelby has been part of the EverTrue family for 23 years, starting as a housekeeper and working her way to senior living counselor. Along the way she’s created new programs, improved processes and inspired countless residents and teammates.

💫Kristy Krumwiede, Director of Hospice, was honored with the Setting the Standard Award. With 25 years in aging services, Kristy has transformed EverTrue Hospice, launched our EverTrue Palliative program, expanded patient access and created the beloved Memorable Moments program, all while leading with compassion and excellence.

EverTrue Crossroads at Bevo Mill is now accepting housing applications, marking a milestone that brings us closer to welcoming residents into this vibrant, mixed-income community.

Slated to open March 2026, EverTrue Crossroads at Bevo will be EverTrue's newest Affordable Housing Community, meeting a need for stable and safe housing for older adults in St. Louis City.

🗓️You can apply in person until 3 pm today, December 9, at Das Bevo, 4749 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116.

We have been decking the halls in the Care Center! We made all the decorations for our tree this year, paper chains, dried oranges and cinnamon ornaments, along with applesauce and cinnamon dough ornaments. The Care Center smells like the holidays!

Ashley, from Gentiva Hospice, brought in Dexter and McGruff for a visit for our residents today! Several residents asked if we could keep Dexter, and one fell in love with McGruff. 😂 We had the best visit, to the point we didn't get the best photos but we hope you can see how much fun we had!

Last night, our resident‑led choir The Songsters filled our chapel with carols, harmonies, and pure Christmas magic—and they were outstanding from first note to final bow! 🎶❄️❤️

Our Sewing Inspirations group has been hard at work! They set up a pop-up shop for everyones christmas needs. From table runners to scarves to wool dryer balls- they had a great selection! They even had a table of baked goods which i think drew in even more people!

After more than a decade of service, we celebrate the retirement of Chaplain Bob Briggs—a man whose second career became his true calling. 🙏

Chaplain Bob served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force before a life-changing car accident led him to finally follow his long-felt pull toward ministry. Since then, he has touched countless lives across multiple EverTrue communities, offering compassion, mentorship and the love of Jesus in every interaction.
