Hi, I’m Emily! I’m here to support you in creating lasting change that feels meaningful and manageable. I earned my Master’s degree from Messiah University with a focus on marriage, couple, and family counseling. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive place where you can show up as you are, feel genuinely heard, and start building change that actually lasts.

I work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and relationship challenges. I use a systemic approach alongside strength-based and DBT-informed strategies to help clients recognize patterns that keep them stuck while building tools that help them feel more grounded, confident, and in control. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our two cats, exploring Japan, and baking bread.

Though we are lovers and not fighters, it’s always encouraging to see professional athletes (in this case Paddy Pimblett) use their platform to speak on the importance of mental health. We couldn’t agree with him more. Talking to someone about what’s going on in your life often makes a positive difference. Sometimes that difference is life saving. Even if it’s not DK Counseling, we encourage everyone to seek support when needed.
