For over 15 years, Unity has provided Child Developmental Home (CDH) services to children with developmental disabilities. We have a highly qualified staff with several years’ experience in working with children in foster care; from family reunification to adoptions. Our licensing specialists are committed to walking with you through the process of becoming a new foster parent, and we provide ongo
ing support once you become licensed. We host foster family events in the community throughout the year, as our way of saying thank you for the hard work you do. In addition, we offer competitive monthly reimbursement, respite, behavior intervention, and our staff is available 24/7. We also provide Adult Developmental Home Services (ADH) to adults with developmental disabilities, that would like a level of independence that a group home or family home can't provide. An ADH is in the private home of an individual who is licensed to provide direct care and supervision. These ADH's have services and supports to meet the physical and emotional needs of individuals on a 24-hour basis. Each ADH has a capacity of one, two or three people. The services provided in the ADH may include: personal care, habilitation, and transportation. Individuals in an ADH usually work or attend day programs in the community during the day. We welcome foster parents and providers of any family type, including single parents and LGBTQ couples. We license foster families throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area, including Pinal County. At Unity, we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our foster children. We commit ourselves to finding devoted and enthusiastic families to build safe and loving homes.
