In a world of big corporate optical chains, this shop is something truly special.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The owner is a longtime family friend, and growing up this was always where we got our glasses. He doesn’t just “order lenses” ….. he personally shapes and fits them to your prescription and frame right there in the shop. Watching him work is watching real craftsmanship. It’s rare these days.

The frame selection is incredible. Whether you love unique, quirky, vintage-inspired styles or prefer classic, timeless looks, he has a thoughtfully curated range that feels intentional …. not mass-produced.

What truly sets him apart, though, is how he takes care of people. He offers an automatic one-year warranty because he understands that life happens ……. especially when you wear glasses yourself. And when you stop in for an adjustment? He’s already paying attention. If your frames are slightly off-center, he fixes them. If your nose pieces are worn from everyday wear (or, let’s be honest, an oily complexion), he’s often replacing them during the adjustment before you even realize they needed it.

That kind of attention to detail and care is hard to find.

Peoria is lucky to still have a small business like this.

Absolutely amazing service. After several other visits to other opticians my frames remained terribly painful to wear to the point I had to go without them. After less than five minutes Ralph fixed all my frame issues, no more pain at all. I'll certainly be going back next time I need anything glasses related.
