Today we celebrate International Women’s Day — and the women who show up every day to make their communities healthier, stronger, and better.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to visit a local manufacturing company to learn more about their workplace and how our clinic can support the health needs of their employees. Building partnerships like this helps us create safer, healthier workplaces for everyone.

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month 💟

Folks….we gotta talk….

Screening for colon cancer is important. We can prevent colon cancer, but we’ve got to get you screened first. It’s easier than ever to do it and it’s covered by insurance.

Our goal at Burds Family Practice for 2026 is to have a 100% screening rate for those ages 45 and over. If you fall into that age group and haven’t been screened for colon cancer yet, give us a call!
