✨ Today Feb 28th we celebrate National Science Day and the discovery of the Raman Effect!

In 1928, Sir C.V. Raman revealed how light changes when it scatters through matter—this scattering is an optical method, which can analyze liquids inside sealed or transparent containers making it ideal for sterile or hazardous liquid handling.

The principles of this light scattering phenomenon are used today in research, utilizing color changes to measure experimental outcomes using colorimetric plate readers.
