The History Museum of East Otter Tail County recently hosted the grand opening of our new Otter Tail Pillager exhibit, which tells the story of these indigenous people, with approximately 50 people in attendance. In addition to a presentation by local author Andrea Young, the event featured speaker Rob Tibbetts, Director of the Cultural Division of the White Earth Nation, who had many interesting things to share regarding his people's history, culture and language.

Andrea Young's book "The Otter Tail Pillager: The Indigenous People of the Minnesota Lakes Area" is for sale at the museum for $15, with all proceeds from the historical non-fiction book going back to the museum.
