Tongue tie release isnā€™t a one-step fixā€”itā€™s part of a bigger, more thoughtful plan. šŸ¤

Before we even talk about when to release, we have to look at the whole baby: their tension, movement patterns, latch, and tongue function. Bodywork (including chiropractic care) helps create the foundation so the mouth can actually use its new mobility after a release.

Timing matters.

These stretches you see here?
Theyā€™re often talked about for AFTER a releaseā€¦ but theyā€™re just as important before.

Why? Because preparing the tissues and nervous system ahead of time can:

āœØ support better function post-release
āœØ make the entire process smoother for both baby & parent

Some of you may remember that my son, Brayden (middle in photo), went to the Dominican Republic with my sisterā€˜s church last summer. It was such an impactful trip for him that he wanted to invite his younger brother Bryce (left) and Craig (right) along this year!!

These three special guys are excited to travel with Grace Community Church in Lancaster, PA to help build a home for a local family. Thatā€™s where YOU come in- we need your prayerful financial support to get these guys down there!

The QR code takes you directly to the donation site, but you can also go to gccws.net, in the menu select GIVE, then choose ONE TIME donate for the Dominican Republic short term mission team, and put ā€œGearhart/Lupoleā€ in the participant box. (As highlighted in the following slides)
