Celebrated on May 1st, Beltane is one of the eight sabbats on the Wheel of the Year and marks the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. Its name comes from the Celtic god Bel, meaning “bright one,” and teine, meaning “fire.” Together, Beltane honors the sacred fires of renewal, passion, fertility, and protection.

Traditionally, this sabbat was celebrated with bonfires, maypoles, dancing, feasting, and rituals to honor the union of masculine and feminine energies—symbolizing the Earth’s fertile awakening.

It’s a time of passion, creation, abundance, and union — when the veil is thin, the earth is bursting with life, and our magic is amplified.

✨Favorite Things Swap✨

Something fun, cozy, and community centered is coming to Highly Mystical Creations. Join us on Saturday, May 23rd at 12PM for our Favorite Things Swap — a magical gathering where everyone shares something they love and leaves with new favorites to discover.

Each guest attending will bring 15 identical items to swap (one for every attendee, including host). Items can be handmade, store bought, thrifted treasures, baked goods, self care goodies, crafts, or anything thoughtful you truly love.

It doesn’t have to be witchy… but bonus points if it is. 🖤

I’ll be making homemade simmer pots for everyone as my favorite thing to share.

This is all about connection, discovering new things, and enjoying a fun afternoon with like minded people.
