Every business has a back story…

Mine started with the “weird” kid in Perkasie who never quite fit in.

Magic was my normal.
My grandmother was deeply rooted in this realm.
My mom practiced mediumship my entire life.

Crystals, intuition, energy… that wasn’t trendy in my house. It was the typical Tuesday. I just didn’t realize it would also one day become my business.

Fast forward, I did cosmetology for 10 years. I loved parts of it, but the industry can be toxic. After COVID, everything shifted. So did I.

Then I tried to do the “adult” thing.

I left and went into insurance. Medicare. Corporate world. The safe job. The respectable job.

And somewhere along the way… I lost myself.

When I left insurance, my mental health was at an all time low. I felt completely untethered. But in that rock bottom moment, one thing became crystal clear:

I could never shrink myself into someone else’s box again. I had to build something of my own.

Fun fact: Highly Mystical Creations existed before the storefront. The name started when I was making resin products from home (RIP to that era… and yes, everyone becomes allergic to resin eventually 😂).

The resin ended quickly but the calling didn’t.

I started from nothing.
No outside investors. No big safety net.
Just a dream, stubborn faith, and the willingness to work for it.

Dreams can come true but they require the work.
We all start somewhere.

I didn’t randomly decide to open a metaphysical shop. This was planted in me long before I understood it.

And now, having a business in the same town I grew up in is something I will never take lightly. It’s an honor. A full circle moment I once prayed for when I felt lost and didn’t know who I was anymore.

And when you walk into Highly Mystical Creations?

The owner greets you.
The social media manager posted that reel.
The product developer made that oil.
The HR department hired the help.
The chaos coordinator solved the crisis.
The event planner booked the circle.
The jack of all trades keeps it moving.

It’s me. 🖤

Thank you for your patience while we navigated being sick during inventory week. Even when life hits, we stay committed to doing right by the people who trust us with their creations.

Payouts will still go out on the 15th as usual, and everything is being handled with care on our end.

We also will have staff officially starting next month to ensure smoother inventory counts and added support moving forward. We’re building stronger systems behind the scenes so this community continues to thrive.

Spring town events are about to begin, foot traffic is about to rise, and we’re stepping into a strong new season together 🌷✨
