EALM Therapy is proud to announce its most recent team member, Jana Beriswill Smith, Occupational Therapist!

Jana is a proud alumnus of Adventist University, where she obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy, and University of South Florida, as a graduate in Psychology.

She comes to EALM Therapy from Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Lake City, where she was responsible for the completion of medical based evaluations and treatment sessions of pediatric patients. Wolfson’s is recognized annually as one of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.

Jana loves working with people, particularly children and families. She believes all people are designed to live with independence and ability within community. This is what fostered her to become an Occupational Therapist; to help people of differing abilities participate as fully as possible in community-life. She uses her skills to walk families through developmental diagnosis; encouraging and enabling them to feel confident in their ability to understand and advocate for their child’s needs.

Please help us wish her a warm welcome to our town 😃

EALM Therapy was thrilled to participate in the North Florida College Community Health Fair today in Madison, Florida.

We had the chance to share information on Occupational and Physical Therapy, and to help our Madison neighbors know we are just up the road.

Also, we were so excited to meet the NFC RN Class of 2021, who hosted the event. The world is waiting for these great nurses!

And, we determined the consensus is "Yes" - Running behind does count as exercise 😁

Thanks NFC! We look forward to next year!
