This one is for the Peanut Butter addicts. {Like me! 🙋🏼‍♀️}

You're not gaining weight from eating it.

32g of peanut butter does NOT equal 300 calories, like some people are claiming.

FYI it's:
180 calories
15g Fat
8g Carbs
7g Protein

While you probably shouldn't eat it straight out of the jar, I'm not going to tell you that you can't eat it.

Restricted Eating=❌

Balance=✅

Everything you love can still be consumed, in moderation.

🏋🏼‍♀️Some days, just getting ready for my workout is an Olympic Sport in itself.

🗓️Most days I do lift heavy, however, my knees are getting weaker in their old age, so I do incorporate a lighter, Calisthenics/Pilates Based Leg day once a week.

💥I just add ankle weights and a resistance band for a little extra challenge... Because.... Well I'm just extra like that.

This is exactly how I boost my confidence, motivation, and mood all at once.

I pick a favorite exercise dress from my closet & style it up.

I love to be comfortable and stylish at the same time.

I'm not a roll out of bed, throw on some sweats & a T-shirt, & put my hair in a ponytail to workout kind of gal.

When my makeup is done, my hair is fixed (or in a cute hat, at least), and my outfit is on point, I have more energy.

That extra energy kicks me right in the b***y and I'm ready to crush my workouts & switch from trainer mode to mom mode with ease.

🤫I'm going to let y'all in on a little secret:

🍪I LOVE cookie dough.

🍨It'e my favorite ice cream flavor and I could eat it straight out of the jar.

🤯Imagine my surprise when I found out you could do just that with snacking dough.

🤤& Let me tell you, it is absolutely delicious straight from the jar, but I also wanted to try it baked.

🤩It absolutely did not disappoint!

✨AND at only 80 calories per cookie, you can enjoy them guilt-free!

👍🏼This stuff is also plant based, has very little sugar, gluten free, & free of the top 8 allergens, so really it's suited for just about anyone!

🙌🏼I have Chocolate Chip here, but it also comes in a variety of other flavors.

We are creatures of habit & sometimes that can burn us out without even realizing it.

If you're feeling stuck in the same routine, try rearranging 1-2 little things about your day.

Try swapping your upper body days with your lower body days.

Or try trading your breakfast toast for breakfast potatoes.

The key word is TRY.

Change can be hard, but if we don't try, we'll never grow.

There's nothing I love more than helping someone who feels stuck.

Last weekend, Shavanti and I had time to discuss her fitness and nutrition plan.

She told me her goals and I wrote out a workout plan for her to follow.

Checkout the text she sent me yesterday about how her calves are feeling and how she feels about Renegade Rows. 😂

For some reason, my workouts cause everyone to have a love/hate relationship with me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But I love receiving messages like this.

It gets me more excited to see her progress as she continues the plan I gave her.

Nothing new here, I'm still obsessed with exercise dresses.

This is my most recent find, which I wore on a weekend adventure I took with an old friend.

I knew we would be doing something active, but also taking lots of pictures to lock in those memories, so I still wanted to wear a cute outfit.

I hit the jackpot when I found this gem on Friday afternoon during our quick shopping trip.

The color is bold and beautiful, the shorts underneath have a pocket for my phone, and it is easy to move in.

It also photographed beautifully.

I will continue to hunt these down in every color & style til my closet is filled with them!

Unpopular opinion, but you don't have to give up all alcohol to stay healthy.

In fact, did you know that one glass of white wine per day has been shown to lower cortisol levels?

We, ladies over 40, all know we want all the secrets to lowering those cortisol levels, right?!

Yes, other alcohols can increase cortisol levels, so you definitely want to keep that consumption to a minimum.

Just remember that you can still enjoy that glass of wine, guilt-free & knowing it's probably good for your health, on your next girls night out.
