Dr. Jolene Smith and Kellie Taylor, ARNP, are here several times a month to help treat a variety of different pain conditions and will be adding days of service.

This includes expanding surgery time, as well as clinic time.

We know how limiting and stressful pain conditions can be and hope that greater local access to pain specialists will more quickly lead to patients' pain relief.

The DCH Foundation is excited to introduce a new spring fundraiser to benefit women’s health, and it will occur the Friday before Mother’s Day on May 8th.

You’ll notice several fun opportunities to get involved, including participation in a dynamic presentation from our own departments on women’s health topics and services, along with the ability to decorate a table and be eligible for a prize. Attached are some examples of what the table decorating looks like.

There will also be the ability to purchase cinnamon rolls to enjoy that weekend (or later), and you can recognize a woman in your life with a group graphic being created.

Reminder!

DCH's outpatient ambulatory center recently began treating patients with Crohn's disease, providing Skyrizi infusions, as well as Remicade and Inflectra. Patients can take advantage of these cares locally to assist with symptom management.

Our ambulatory center is located on the second floor of our south atrium level and is immediately accessible by elevator as you enter the hospital.

Gastroenterologists can make a referral to our ambulatory care center.

We're so excited the buzz is getting around about the medical director for our Sleep Studies, Dr. Clemmons, joining the team as a visiting specialist next month!

He's already a tremendous help to patients with sleep apnea and will be able to take on a more global look at sleep issues by coming to our Specialty Clinic each month. He will be supported by several departments at DCH, including Cardiopulmonary.

He is currently filled in the Specialty Clinic until July, so if you need to see a sleep specialist, don't delay a phone call to schedule an appointment.
