Patients deserve a Urologist they can trust and a Urology team who works in unison to care for them. You can find both at the DCH Specialty Clinic.

Dr. Jonathan Fialkov treats patients at DCH each week. He has been with the organization well over 5 years.

Dr. Fialkov stresses that the success of his practice is impacted greatly by the quality team who surrounds him.

His dedication to patients and the team at Dallas County Hospital is reflected through the addition of new tests and procedures within his specialty clinic and in our ambulatory care center to keep even more care closer to home.

Dr. Fialkov can help in multiple ways with bladder and bowel incontinence, along with urinary pain, discomfort, and urgency issues.

Male sexual health is also an area of expertise.

He is one of the only urologists treating pediatric patients in central Iowa.

DCH recently began treating patients with Crohn's disease, providing Skyrizi infusions, as well as Remicade and Inflectra. Gastroenterologists can make a referral to our ambulatory care center. Patients can take advantage of these cares locally to assist with symptom management.

Vaccinate Your Family launched its new bilingual campaign, , to support parents, caregivers, and families of babies and very young children with clear, accessible information about immunizations. The campaign runs through May 31, highlighting maternal immunization and the important role it plays in helping protect babies from the very beginning.

For older children, this is a helpful time to remind many insurances pay for one well child check/physical examination per year. Scheduling a visit over the summer can be an effective time for planning ahead before the next school year starts, both in terms of immunizations and to prepare for athletic seasons.

August can be an incredibly busy time for families, so we encourage proactiveness in the early summer months and are here to help at any of our three clinics. Many providers are accepting new patients and would be happy to guide you through.

Who knew you could have so much fun in one week?! We're recapping this year's Hospital Week!

65 is the magic number in Senior Life Solutions. They both serve patients 65 years and older who typically have a depression diagnosis, AND Rob, Robin, and Pat have a combined 65 years of experience working in mental health.

With the support of nursing and mental health counseling, plus telepsychiatry, this program brings hope, help, and healing to those in need of mental health support. This can be following the passing of a loved one, notice of a new diagnosis, or any other event causing distress.

The group strives to promptly meet with patients following a referral from their primary care provider, as they understand there is an urgency.

Following a 3-2-1 model, the program typically offers participants three group therapy services per week, on top of two individual therapy sessions, and one telepsychiatry visit per month, along with nursing assessments.

Together, the group has seen countless patients graduate and obtain a happier and healthier outlook on life. We are accepting new patients. Call DCH for more information.
