Yay! Great news.

It’s inspiring to witness the momentum building across the country as states take decisive steps to prioritize children’s health. Florida’s recent initiative to ban ultra-processed foods in schools, following the examples set by West Virginia, Utah, and Texas marks a significant move toward nourishing our young generations, not slowly poisoining them.

This collective action sends a powerful message: we are committed to safeguarding our children’s well-being by eliminating harmful additives from their diets. It’s a stand against the prioritization of profit over health, signaling that we refuse to knowingly compromise our kids’ futures.

Returning to whole, unprocessed foods is critical. We’ve relied on ultra-processed, packaged “foods” for too long. It’s time to get back to the basics. Comment ‘CLEAN’ to receive my simple guide on daily clean-eating habits and the best foods to boost your energy.

There are so many forms of magnesium out there, but these are three of the top forms I recommend taking. 👆

Approximately 50% of Americans are deficient in magnesium and here are some of the top signs of such a deficiency:
Muscle Tightness
Cramps and Spasms
Fatigue and Weakness
Nausea and Vomiting
Loss of Appetite
Tingling or Numbness (especially in your hands or feet)
Irregular Heartbeat
Mood changes or Anxiety
High Blood Pressure
Weak Bones
Trouble Sleeping

If you are magnesium-deficient, you’ll want to add in magnesium-rich foods to your diet. Try some of the following:
Pumpkin Seeds: 168 mg in 1 oz (30% of daily needs)
Spinach: 157 mg in 1 cup, cooked
Almonds: 80 mg in 1 oz
Cashews: 74 mg in 1 oz (18% of DV)
Dark Chocolate (70-85% cacao): 64 mg in 1 oz
Black Beans (cooked): 60 mg in ½ cup
Chia Seeds: 111mg in 1 oz (26% of DV)
Mackerel: 82 mg in 3 oz (20% of DV)
Tuna: 64 mg in 3 oz (15% of DV)
Avocado: 58 mg in 1 medium avocado (14% of the DV)
Quinoa (cooked): 118 mg in 1 cup (28% of the Daily Value)
