control, load, stability, mobility -
yoga will humble you real quick.

this is strength that translates:
• picking up your grandkids like it’s nothing
• hauling luggage… and actually enjoying the trip once you get there
• walking, hiking, exploring new places without your body holding you back
• playing pickleball, tennis, running - with power, control, and less risk of injury
• moving better in your sport (yes, those swings gets stronger ⛳️🏸)
• getting up & down off the floor with ease - now and later
• staying durable, capable, and independent for life

and let’s not pretend…
strength, control, and mobility show up in every part of life -
including the fun parts… yeah, that kind of strength too 😏💋
challenge, play, expression, connection… even love-making 💋

this isn’t passive stretching.
this is earned, functional, usable strength.

and depending how you practice…
you can build a lot of it.

five benefits of yoga… 🧘🏻‍♀️🌀✨🌱💗
someone asked me to describe the five benefits of yoga. immediately i spiraled — only five?? how could i possibly categorize all the ways this practice transforms a life into such a simple answer?

then it hit me… the main energy centers of the body reflect so much of what yoga cultivates in us.

so here it is, the way i see it:

yoga…
• grounds us - creating foundations of internal safety and stability
• awakens creativity and desire - the ability to move and create fluidly in life
• builds confidence - strength and courage expressed in humility
• opens the heart - allowing us to give, receive, and experience love more fully
• encourages honest expression - communication, understanding, connection
• clears the mind - making space for insight, intuition, and deeper awareness
• reminds us we’re part of something greater - connection beyond the self

interpret these however they resonate for you…

physical.
mental.
emotional.
energetic.

that’s one of the beauties of yoga…
this practice meets you exactly where you are.

Winter decor is coming down in preparation for a change in season!
We’ve got exciting news about another big change coming to studio. here’s a hint - outside isn’t the only thing that’s going to be warming up 🔥, but don’t worry it’s not going to be too hot 🥵, simply a different kind of heat 😘.

Swipe right for proof on how shortcuts don’t make things any easier! They don’t get us there faster, sometimes rushing can actually bring on more delay! When we build our practice it’s the same way. I had to get the ladder. and you might need to bend your knees, grab a prop, or pull back in a pose to catch your breath.
