Megan holds a Bachelor of Art and Science and a Master's Degree in Social Work. With 16 years in the field, her extensive background includes clinical therapy with various populations (Child, Adolescent, Adult), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) practice and supervision, managing Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), facilitating Adolescent and Adult Anger Management, Domestic Violence/Batterers Intervention using the Duluth Model, and Home-Based therapy. This week, we're excited to shine a spotlight on Nickole Weddelman, a compassionate MA, LPC, and a valued Clinical Therapist at Premiere Counseling Services! Nickole is dedicated to working with children and young adolescents.

Experience & Education:

Nickole earned both her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Toledo. She began her journey at PCS as an intern in January 2023 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in January 2024.

Approach & Specializations:

Nickole primarily works with children and young adolescents from the ages of 2 to 13. She utilizes a client-centered approach, collaborating closely with her young clients and their families. Nickole employs several evidence-based treatment modalities tailored for children, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), and Play Therapy. Her specializations include addressing behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and ADHD in young children.
