This week, we're excited to shine a spotlight on Megan Bond-Stokes, a highly experienced LISW-S, DBT-C, and a dedicated Clinical Therapist at Premiere Counseling Services! Megan brings 16 years of diverse experience and a commitment to supporting adolescents and adults.
Experience & Education:
Megan holds a Bachelor of Art and Science and a Master's Degree in Social Work. With 16 years in the field, her extensive background includes clinical therapy with various populations (Child, Adolescent, Adult), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) practice and supervision, managing Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), facilitating Adolescent and Adult Anger Management, Domestic Violence/Batterers Intervention using the Duluth Model, and Home-Based therapy. She holds the credential of Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S) and is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT-C).
Approach & Specializations:
Megan primarily works with adolescents through adulthood, utilizing evidence-based modalities like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She specializes in addressing symptomology related to Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, Trauma, and severed attachment. Megan takes a compassionate, supportive approach and provides support for individuals navigating these challenges, drawing on her broad experience across different therapeutic settings and populations.
