I’m so proud of my daughter Grace, who is also part of the Arrowhead Plastic Surgeons family, for graduating Magna Cum Laude this weekend from The University of Toledo. Hopefully she’ll be working part time for us again this summer until she moves on to bigger and better things ❤️

I just want to thank my patients, my family and my friends for their prayers and support these past few weeks. ❤️

For those that don’t know, I suffered a spontaneous retinal detachment in my left eye.
I woke up Christmas Day with some fogginess in the vision of my left eye. This did not get better and I was seen by an ophthalmologist 2 days later who diagnosed a retinal detachment. I was seen emergently at the University of Michigan that same day and underwent emergent surgery at the Kellogg eye center the next day. Surgery went well.

I am doing well and healing as expected.

As you can imagine, It is just tough to be down and sedentary for so long. I have a gas bubble in my left eye from the retinal surgery and I am just waiting for it to dissolve. I really can’t do much until that dissolves which they tell me should take 4-6 weeks.

I appreciate Dr. Kesler and my office staff for jumping right in to help take care of my patients. 

I also appreciate my incredible patients for their concern, patience and understanding as I heal.

I plan to return back to work hopefully by the end of February.

Every year I think it will be the last time we can celebrate together as a family and every year God blesses us by having all our kids gather home to be with us.
