At just 17 years old, Rick Steffey proudly joined the United States Air Force in 1974 as a jet engine mechanic. Decades later, his determination and discipline as a veteran continue to shine. After undergoing a below-the-knee amputation, Rick has made remarkable progress, walking confidently on his new prosthesis.
