It’s Small Business Saturday, so here’s a quick story in case you’ve ever wondered who runs SolFood Collective.

It’s me. Literally just me.
One woman, one laptop, one dog, a camera, a juicer, and about twelve hats depending on the day.

Before this, I was a celebrity wardrobe stylist running around Los Angeles. Then my autoimmune disease hit and everything changed. I went from styling celebrities to struggling to walk. That’s what pushed me to rebuild my health through plant based eating, daily juicing, and changing my lifestyle one step at a time.

SolFood Collective started in 2018 with a simple mission. The mind, the body, and the belly are connected. And when you change your lifestyle, you can change your life.

Every year my favorite part of Thanksgiving isn’t the vegan turkey. It’s the stuffing made from my sourdough bread, the mashed potatoes, the gravy, and gathering around the table with my family. And honestly… the next-day Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches are their own moment entirely. Those sandwiches with my sourdough? That’s the real leftover magic.

If you’re serving bread on Thanksgiving, why not make it something that supports your gut and tastes like it belongs in a Michelin-star restaurant? Sourdough is the nourishing choice. Fermented, flavorful, and the kind of bread you feel good eating and serving.

OK OK… the jig is up.
We did not land a Vogue cover... yet, so naturally I decided to launch my own magazine: DOUGH.

Featuring my beloved sourdough creations in all their crunchy, golden glory.
(OK again… I’m not actually starting a magazine… but in our little fantasy world here on social media? We absolutely are.)

If you want a loaf that feels cover-worthy, I’m now taking organic sourdough pre-orders through Saturday, November 22 for pickup on Wednesday, November 26.

As always: handcrafted in small batches, no mass production here.

Did my sourdough and I just land a Vogue cover? No. But these loaves are so damn beautiful we honestly could.

And you know what really would be iconic? Showing up to Thanksgiving with the organic sourdough everyone remembers. The loaf that gets passed around the table and talked about long after dinner. The one people slice into and immediately whisper, “oh my god, who brought this.”

I have a variety of loaves available for Thanksgiving, including the maple pecan pumpkin shaped loaf, which also happens to make the perfect host gift. Everything is small batch and made by hand, so once I hit my limit, I stop taking orders. Order deadline is November 22. Pick up is Wednesday, November 26.

Normally, bread is available every first and third Sunday, but holiday season likes to shake things up.

For November:
🚫 No bread on November 16
✅ Thanksgiving pickup: Wednesday, November 26
Pre-orders are officially open.

Quantities are limited. I bake with intention, not mass production.

If you’d like my sourdough on your Thanksgiving table, please place your order by 6 PM on November 22.

SolFood Collective

The Collective was started by Chef Jacquelyn Jones, featured on the Food Network, and founder of Starving and Single to bring people together to share a beautiful afternoon of self love, self care, and connection. It embodies a variety of teachers and healers to help you connect your mind, body, soul, and spirit. Jacquelyn and the teachers strongly believe in the power of making the connection between the mind and belly and want to share with others how to do so. When the mind and belly are connected, the body can live in balance. To help you make the connection, we start off with a yoga and meditation class, followed by a three course plant-based meal prepared by Chef Jacquelyn. All produce is organic, non-gmo, and sourced from our local farmers, and the meals are made from scratch. What we put into our bodies is as important as how we take care of our minds. Just as food is medicine and can prevent and cure disease, meditation can change the structure of your brain. We at the Collective focus on teaching you how to make the connection and live a balanced life. When you spend the afternoon with us, you'll relax your mind, move your body, and fill your belly with a plant-based meal. Chef Jacquelyn shares her story on how she healed herself using food as medicine, explains the nutritional advantage in each dish served, and sends you off with a tasty gift and recipe card. It's a luxurious experience you don't want to miss.
