BOARD CERTIFIED in both PLASTIC SURGERY & GENERAL SURGERY A native of Youngstown, Ohio. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Youngstown State University. I earned my medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, graduating in 1985. After completing General Surgery Training at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Washington I returned to Toledo, Ohio to complete my plastic and reconstructive surgical residency at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and The Medical College of Ohio. I began practicing plastic surgery in Seattle, Washington in 1992. Then joined the practice of NW Ohio Plastic Surgeons in 1995, which is now known as Arrowhead Plastic Surgeons. I am board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of General Surgery. I am one of the few Plastic Surgeons in the region to receive board certifications by two separate specialties. I have personal expertise in facelifts, rhinoplasty eyelid and forehead rejuvenation, as well as non-invasive facial alternatives, such as: Botox, facial fillers and Sciton laser resurfacing. I have unparalleled experience in breast lifts, breast reduction and rejuvenation, as well as abdominoplasty, liposuction and total body contouring. I have extensive experience in a vast array of reconstructive and traumatic hand surgical procedures. I strive to provide plastic and cosmetic patients with superior quality outcomes that combine the latest surgical advances with personal insight utilizing my 27 years of experience in private practice. I educate my patients to help them make optimal decisions. I always strive for the natural look with the shortest recovery time possible, and a result that is long lasting. I have been recognized as the winner or runner up of the Toledo City Paper's Top Plastic Surgeon 7 years in a row. I am active in several national and local medical societies. I have practice privileges at most Toledo area hospitals. I am the Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Vincent Mercy Medical and the former Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Luke's Hospital. I am actively involved in teaching both general surgery and orthopedic surgery residents who are training in both plastic surgery, as well as hand surgery. I am passionate about supporting local schools, and community charities. I, along with my wife Julie, have three children; Annelicia (Anthony) Kline, Seth, and Will. We appreciate our time together. We have many favorite outdoor activities, whether it is being on our family boat on Lake Erie, fishing, skiing, scuba diving or exploring new adventures through travel.
