2025 was a wild year.
I shut down my brick and mortar, wrote a book, moved to TN, homeschooled the boys- all because I was asked to. Obedience is an act of faith. ❤️
Many doors opened this year as I started to ask God to use me for His kingdom instead of me (recovering type a personality) doing what I thought He wanted.
It’s a huge shift and I am doubling down on the Kingdom work for 2026. The Lord is so faithful. ❤️
Happy News Year’s Eve y’all!

If you’re in perimenopause, buying weights is one of the BEST gifts you can give your body 💪
Resistance training isn’t just about looking toned
It literally supports your hormones, metabolism, brain, and bones during this transition.
Here’s why lifting matters ⬇️
💪 Builds and protects muscle
Estrogen shifts make it easier to lose muscle and gain fat. Strength training helps you maintain lean mass, improve insulin sensitivity, and support a healthy metabolism.
🧠 Calms mood + nervous system
Lifting improves brain chemistry, reduces anxiety, stabilizes mood swings, and helps with “wired but tired” stress patterns.
Several PubMed studies show it can act as an endocrine disruptor, with evidence linking higher systemic exposure to thyroid changes like increased TSH and altered T3/T4 levels. Thyroid function is HUGE in perimenopause because it affects metabolism, energy, mood, menstrual cycles, and how we feel day-to-day. 😳
Some emerging research also suggests potential effects on reproductive hormones and ovarian function. Informed choices matter. (Read the labels!) ✅
If you’re in perimenopause, struggling with hormone balance, fatigue, or thyroid issues, every little exposure matters. 🪥

Had to do this! Also, maybe I should get some extra hair to style like this! I also had to tell chat gpt to cover the bust and make it like the picture I sent. 🫣
This is why I still love in person events- what is even real 😂
