Our ‘Christmas Store’ will be opening soon and we could use your help!
For those that may not know about our store… our residents win/earn tickets by doing daily puzzles, winning games etc. then every Monday our activity room turns into their ‘store’ where they can shop and ‘buy’ items with their tickets
Well, it’s that time of year again when we try to expand our store items for the Holiday Season. It allows residents to ‘Christmas Shop’ – for their loved ones and for themselves. With our amazing community’s help, we were able to do this in previous years and they absolutely loved it and look forward to it every year!
So, if you are cleaning out stuff at home or out shopping and think of us we would LOVE new or gently used donations to help with filling our store! Word Search & Crossword Books, Trinkets, Costume Jewelry, Dollar Tree type items, candy (regular and/or sugar free), snacks etc. Our goal is to have enough items in our store to allow residents to ‘buy’ a holiday gift for their loved ones if they choose. Although family members say not to worry about a gift, nothing makes a resident smile more than being able to gift a loved one at Christmas time. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated by all! Thank you.
