Cooking up some beautiful Concord grape jelly that I juiced a few days ago.

Spent most of the day harvesting the rest of the concord grapes which are super sweet especially since we’ve had some frosty nights. Turning at least half into juice using a steamer today to make jelly.

Fall canning! This year due to the heat I had a surplus of green tomatoes. I found a couple wonderful recipes from a new blogspot I’ve been following lately called .greens and tried the green tomato relish and her green tomato chutney. And look at the giant bucket of tomatoes I still have left!! If I have time will try to pickle a bunch and still debating what to do with the rest. Any ideas are welcome!

I made a small batch of Lavender Honey Apricot Jam and it was so amazing I’m making a double batch today. Kids and I picked all these apricots from a couple of trees growing locally. Hopefully next year we’ll harvest a few on our own little tree we planted this year!
