✨ This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating a year of meaningful inclusion—and inviting you to help us grow.

In 2025, Inclusive Compass hosted our 5th Inclusion Festival, and it was our most successful one yet. Families, youth, adults, community partners, performers, and artists all came together in a space designed for connection, joy, and accessibility.

Beyond the festival, we brought our Sensory Regulation Stations—a calming, supportive space where individuals can ground themselves, regulate, and re-enter the environment feeling safer and more centered - to community gatherings all across Sonoma County. From farmers markets and fairs to Special Olympics events and Pride celebrations, these stations made a real difference. This year alone, over 3,000 people used our supports. That’s 3,000 moments where someone felt welcomed, valued, and able to engage more authentically within the community.

And we’re just getting started.

🌟 Our vision for 2026 is bold:
• Expanding Inclusion Festival to a professional event venue with easier parking, increased accessibility, and more capacity.
• Upgrading our Sensory Regulation Stations with hydration options, cooling tools, pet-friendly features, and enhanced access supports.
• Doubling our inventory so we can provide multiple stations on the same day as requests continue to grow.

To make this happen, we’re asking for your support. Here are five ways you can help Inclusive Compass create even more inclusive spaces in 2026:

Did you see this week’s Argus? [Español abajo]

The Petaluma Fair is on the road to financial stability thanks to the support of our community, the dedication of your City team, amazing vendors and performers, and the agricultural community at the heart of the Fair.

The Fair isn’t about profit — it’s about honoring agriculture and bringing people together. But we also know residents want funds used wisely, so our team set out to make the Fair as inclusive and welcoming as possible.

This year we added more shading, seating, and a space for nursing parents and others needing a break from the heat. These changes helped Fairgoers stay longer, enjoy more activities, and spread the word about their positive experiences.

One of the most impactful additions was the Inclusive Compass Sensory Regulation Station (SRS). More than 1,000 visitors relaxed in bean bag chairs, used noise-canceling headphones, and explored calming toys with support from trained staff. The SRS gave families a way to recharge so they could return to the fun refreshed.

Guests told us:
✨ “I’ve been coming to this fair for years, and I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s so thoughtful and so needed. Thank you for creating a space where all families can take a breath."
✨ “My son has sensory needs, and we usually have to leave events early. Today, we stayed the whole day because of this station. You have no idea what that means to us.”
✨ “This is the first time I’ve seen a public event prioritize inclusion in a real way, not just words. You’re setting a new standard.”

A huge thank-you to Inclusive Compass for hosting the SRS and to Girl Scout Troop 10278 for volunteering. We can’t wait to see you — and take a break with you! — at next year’s Fair.
