Another fun Kentucky Derby in the books! We started with a horse racing activity that always brings smiles and laughter as the residents navigate their horses through some traps on the field. Then the short documentary ‘7 days out - from the Kentucky Derby’ a great primer to this year’s ’Run for the Roses’ and this year certainly didn’t disappoint! Way to go ‘Golden Tempo’; way to go jockey Jose Ortiz; and WAY TO GO Cherie DeVaux!

Many of our residents were avid gardeners back in the day, so we are always glad when spring and summer arrive so we can get back to getting our hands in the dirt and reconnecting with Mother Nature - especially as ‘Earth Day’ was just a week or so ago. Always a thrill and a treat for all of us at Windsong of Sonoma Senior Living when the wonderful Sebastopol Senior Singers come to our community! They come twice a year and it’s completely voluntary on their part. (And they visit many communities like ours.)
