Re-introducing Officer Mimi Rossotti, who’s come to guest speak to all our Girls In-Service groups this year. She’s wrapped up her tour with our program with our 10th-11th grade cohort this past April.

Office Rossotti shared about her career, schooling, and other options that exist when working in law-enforcement. That includes dispatch and working with contract agencies who provide therapy and trauma debriefing for big events.

One thing I love about Officer Rossotti is how her passion shines through. Despite being petite in stature, Officer Rossotti is a total badass who’s skilled, dedicated, and loves her job.

We appreciate Officer Rossotti and all our guest speakers who give youth an up close look at a variety of careers.

There’s so many reasons to join us this August for Wise Girl Adventures.

The growth that happens as we hit the trail, play tons of games to let teens be kids, spend downtime to connect with no phones while crafting, listening to music, veg out, and enjoy our Wise Girl Wisdom nights is sure to have your daughter come home a little different than when she came.

More confidence, improved self-esteem, and a gaggle of new friends makes Wise Girl Adventures an opportunity your daughter shouldn’t miss.

For girls entering 8th-9th grades or 10th-11th grades, we’ve got a weekend for her this August.

So grateful for Lexi Curtice coming to share about her career in fundraising and her journey into the not-
for-profit world with our ninth grade Girls In-Service cohort

Lexi inspired our members to think more about traveling. With a degree in Global Studies from UCSB, Lexi traveled to Jerusalem and did extensive work in the Middle East and Africa. She later landed at Girls Who Code and has a fulfilling career helping to grow this not-for-profit business who offers many free programs to girls. This program seeks to close the gender gap in the coding industry as males significantly dominate this field.

Learning about different career paths and being inspired is what our guest speakers aim to provide the Girls In-Service members.
