Trouble sleeping around the full moon? You’re not alone - there’s even a term for it! Lunar Insomnia.

Though it may be exhausting and inconvenient, we recommend surrendering to it and relishing this rare connection still have with the natural world. If you can’t sleep, go outside and take a moon bath. Or write a letter (even one to yourself!) infused with full moon vibes. Soon enough the moon will be waning and the energy will shift and hopefully you will sleep peacefully again 💚🌝😴 If not, come talk to us at and we’ll set you up with some sage advice and products to help you get a restful night’s sleep.

Thanks to Phaedra of for the amazing photo ♥️💋

Fresh food has so much Qi! The quality of what we eat matters as much as its carb, protein or fat content. Eating local food isn’t just good for the planet, it’s great for your well-being.

As always, moderation is key. It’s so easy to go wild with summer fruit (think: bears) but raw fruits and vegetableshsve a cool nature and too much of them can damage your digestive Qi, leading to bloating, loose stools, and eventually fatigue and weaker muscles. So take advantage of the bounty but don’t overdo it!

Cooking fruit and vegetables warms up that cold nature and can make them more digestible and better for your Qi. A light vegetable sauté so that leaves all the colors vibrant and the vegetables a little crunchy does the trick. And have you tried barbecued peaches????

Cayenne pepper 🌶️ ripening just in time for a new batch of our special Fire Cider 🔥 Cayenne has a invigorating nature and is a natural vasodilatador, relaxing blood vessels and promoting blood flow to the hands and feet. It has been traditionally used to lower blood pressure and in small amounts can help digestion in people with cold, underactive guts. Use caution, though! Cayenne has a hot spicy nature 👹 that is definitely not appropriate for everyone! If you have an irritated stomach with heartburn or run warm and Yin deficient with hot flashes and night sweats, this is not the botanical for you. Come see us and we can help you determine what plants may be your herbal allies. 💚
