We need your help for Fluffy & Thor 💔🐾
These young German Shepherds didn’t fail… they were failed. Most of their lives, they were left outside without the guidance, structure, or socialization they needed. When they ended up at the shelter, the stress only made things worse, and they quickly began to shut down.
We stepped in because we knew they wouldn’t get the support they needed there. But now that they’re safe with us, the real work begins.
Fluffy and Thor need professional training to help them build confidence, learn how to feel safe, and understand the world around them. This isn’t just training, it’s a second chance at life.
Without it, dogs like them are often overlooked. With it, they have a real shot at becoming the incredible dogs we know they can be.

A Border Collie puppy who’s likely to stay around 35 pounds… yes, he’s as perfect as he sounds.

Trooper is 7–8 months old with the sweetest, most gentle personality. He’s already winning hearts with how friendly, affectionate, and easygoing he is, and he’s been great with other dogs too. He’s at that perfect age where he’s still a playful puppy but also ready to grow into an amazing, loyal companion with the right family.

Like all of our dogs, Trooper’s adoption includes the option to attend group training classes to help build confidence, reinforce good habits, and strengthen your bond together.

Luna’s story is one we won’t forget anytime soon. She and her two 1-year-old puppies were found running loose in a gas station parking lot in Northern California by two incredible women, Susan and Shawlene. After several hours (and even sacrificing a Raisin’ Cane’s dinner 😅) with the help of a kind bystander, they were able to safely catch all three.

When they got them home and shared their story, they learned the dogs had escaped their yard and somehow made it across Highway 5 😱

Susan and Shawlene didn’t just rescue them, they stepped up to foster them, getting to know them, giving them love, and searching for the right homes. Through that process, they connected with us, and that’s when we were able to step in and help continue their journey.

And what a chapter it is… Luna was adopted by Roxanne’s sister, and it was love and first sight 💕

Seeing Luna now, safe, loved, and exactly where she’s meant to be, is everything we hope for with every rescue.

We’re so grateful to Susan and Shawlene for going above and beyond for this little family. This is what rescue is all about 🐾💛

Happy update on Meadow 🌼🐾

Some stories are meant to have happy endings, and Meadow’s is one of them.

When Roxanne visited the Stanislaus shelter, she asked the director to show her the first female puppy who was on the list. That puppy was Meadow, and the answer was an immediate yes. We brought this sweet 4-month-old Border Collie mix back to the ranch, and she was adopted almost right away by a wonderful family.

We couldn’t be happier for this precious girl as she begins her new life surrounded by love.

And the good news doesn’t stop there, all four of Meadow’s siblings were also adopted and/or rescued from the shelter. 💛

From the shelter to safety to home, this is why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone who supports rescue and helps make stories like Meadow’s possible.

Moana is a 10-month-old German Shepherd mix with the most striking blue eyes and a sweet, gentle soul. She’s still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place, so she’ll need a patient adopter who will give her the time, space, and understanding she deserves.

With consistency, love, and a calm home, we know Moana will continue to gain confidence and blossom into the happy dog she’s meant to be. She has been comfortable with other dogs nearby and may enjoy a canine companion with proper introductions.

Like all of our dogs, Moana’s adoption includes the option to attend group training classes to help build trust, confidence, and set her up for success in her new home.

Moana is still just a puppy with her whole life ahead of her. She’s looking for someone who can see past her fear and help her shine. ✨

🐾🌸 Blossom Update 🌸🐾

We’re so happy to share that Miranda from the ranch has stepped up to foster Blossom as she gets ready to welcome her puppies. 💛

Blossom is settling into her cozy whelping box and getting comfortable in a safe, warm space where she can relax and prepare for delivery.

She is incredibly sweet and loving. You’d never know she was abandoned, other than the fact that she loves a little extra reassurance and comfort. She’s soaking up the kindness and care she deserves.

Once Blossom and her puppies are old enough and ready, they will be available for adoption.

Cinnamon is a beautiful 6-year-old, 60 lb Belgian Malinois with a gentle heart, sharp mind, and so much love to give to the people she trusts.

She’s affectionate, playful, smart, and very handler-focused. With a medium energy level for her breed, Cinnamon enjoys walks, hikes, park outings, errands, and being included in everyday life. She loves having a job to do and being part of the plan.

Cinnamon is dog friendly, especially with male dogs, and forms deep bonds with her people. Like many Malinois, she takes a little time to warm up to new people, so she’s looking for a breed-experienced adopter who understands her needs and will help guide her through a thoughtful transition.

💛 Her adoption includes group training classes in Sebastopol, plus individual sessions to help build confidence, provide mental enrichment, and strengthen your bond together.

Cinnamon’s story is a special one. When her owners were deported, she lost the only home she had ever known. Since then, she’s had time to decompress and is now ready for the loving forever home she deserves.

She would do best in a home with teens or older kids.

Update: He's been reunited!
Please help find Kenny!!! He just left the shelter and was with a rescue heading home when he escaped at Washoe House and Roblar Road. He’s scared and very lost!

Update : Kenny has been found and now is home with his new family ❤️❤️

Kenny is missing !!!! He was just adopted from the Martinez shelter and jumped out of his adopter’s car near Stoney Point and Roblar rd near the Washoe house in Petaluma/ outskirts of Santa Rosa. He’s a seven year old German shepherd, wearing a collar no tags. And he might be chipped but info may not be updated yet with his new family’s information. Please let’s get him back to safety, he is really lost and not from here 🥺😩

We urgently need foster homes for our rescue dogs. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, now is the perfect time to make a real difference.

We welcome fosters anywhere in California, though homes near the Bay Area or Sacramento area are especially helpful for access to events and resources.

🐾💛 Update on Our Pregnant Mama Dog 💛🐾

We’ve named her Blossom 🌸

Blossom is likely a Border Collie / Australian Shepherd mix, and she is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. She appears to be just days away from giving birth, so finding the right safe and calm space for her remains very important.

She deserves to welcome her puppies somewhere peaceful, surrounded by care and kindness after everything she’s been through.

We are still looking for the best foster placement for Blossom as she gets closer to delivery.

Archie is a 10-month-old German Shepherd mix (40–50 lbs) with a sweet heart, goofy personality, and so much love to give.

Found on the side of the road with no one to claim him, Archie is now ready for a fresh start with a family of his own. He’s affectionate, loves being close to his people (total leaner/lap dog!), and is both playful and mostly calm.

🚫 Not a fit for homes with cats

He’s still a young pup learning his size and manners, and would thrive with a home that can offer structure, guidance, and love.
