Huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who help make everything we do possible.

From walking dogs and cleaning kennels to hanging flyers, helping with dog training, watering trees at the ranch, feeding dogs, working adoption events, restocking supplies, transporting dogs, grooming, and even providing chiropractic care for the animals, you all play such an important role in keeping the ranch running and the dogs cared for.

There are so many behind-the-scenes things that happen every day, and we truly couldn’t do it without the time, heart, and dedication each of you brings. We are so grateful for every single one of you and for the love you show our animals and our mission.

Some dogs come to the ranch while they wait for their forever home.
But every once in a while, a dog arrives and you realize… this was his home all along.

From the moment we met Tyr, it was clear he had a resilient spirit. Even after everything he had been through, he was eager for attention, love, and connection. During his time here, he has continued to blossom and open up more every day.

Watching him grow made something very clear. Tyr has already endured so much in his life, and the thought of him having to go through another big transition just didn’t feel right. So we have some happy news to share. Tyr isn’t going anywhere. He has officially found his forever home here at the ranch.

He will continue to live here surrounded by people who love him, the animals he has grown comfortable with, and the peaceful life he deserves.

Some dogs come here to heal before finding their family. For Tyr, the ranch became his family.

Otis has the best ears and an even better personality.

This sweet, friendly boy loves people and gets along great with other dogs, kids, and even ranch animals. Otis already knows how to sit, shake, and stand, and he’s always eager to show off his tricks if it means getting a little extra attention.

He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people and be part of the family. We love having him at the ranch, but what he really deserves is a home of his own.

Otis’s adoption also includes ongoing support, including group training classes twice a week with his professional trainer.

Remember this little boy? 🐾

Well… here he is now!

We’re so excited to share that Ozzy’s forever family recently sent us these new photos, and we are absolutely stunned to see how happy he is. Formerly known as Pippin Took, Ozzy has grown into a big, beautiful boy, now 70 pounds of pure love!

Seeing him thriving with his new family reminds us exactly why we do what we do. Moments like this make every rescue worth it. 💛

Our tours typically last about two hours and are a wonderful way to slow down, spend time outdoors, and connect with the animals who call the ranch home.

What if saving just one dog could change everything?

Roxanne Albin, the Executive Director of Roxy’s Ranch Haven shares the story of a tiny cattle dog puppy who was scheduled to be euthanized at just 8 weeks old, simply for being blind. She was warned it wouldn’t be easy. But the alternative was unthinkable.

That one decision to drive to Riverside and give him a chance, became the beginning of something far greater. Since that day, more than 150 rescue dogs have been rescued. 🐾

And here’s the truth: none of this would be possible without our fosters.

Fosters are the heart of rescue. They open their homes, give these dogs safety, stability, and love and create the bridge between survival and a forever family. That’s why we value our fosters so deeply. If you’ve ever felt called to make a difference, this could be your sign!
