We will kick it off with an herbal tea tasting, followed by a discussion on writing and publishing with nods to Naomi’s zine LAUNCHETTE and my book ASIAN AMERICAN HERBALISM. Books and zines will be available for purchase.

Living in accordance with the seasons protects your deep reserve of Qi and sets the tone for the year to come. According to the lunar calendar, these points are the peak of each season rather than the beginning. In this way, the spring season begins with the second full moon of the year, sometime in late January or early February. That is why Spring festivals like Chinese New Year coincide with this timing.
