Amy is an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT) with over 500 hours of training. She’s a gifted body reader who specializes in therapeutic yoga to guide people through heali
ng their everyday aches and pains, as well as more advanced body ailments such as injuries. Amy is currently studying to attain a master’s degree in acupuncture and integrative medicine at AIMC Berkeley and is a huge believer in the mind-body connection. She guides people to use yoga as medicine in order to ground into stability within their mind, body and spirit. When practicing with Amy, you are likely to find passion, challenge, fun—and lots of it. Amy’s energetic personality coupled with her down-to-earth, mid-western sense of humor and stable values makes her a triple threat of power, ease and warmth. When not teaching yoga, Amy can be spotted camping in her VW Vanagon, hiking and foraging in the forest or sharing her favorite new green smoothie and veggie soup recipes with students and friends.
