Reaching out about in-home care often comes with a lot of uncertainty. The first step is simply a conversation. We take time to listen and understand what is going on before suggesting next steps.
For many families, that next step is an in-home assessment. This allows our care team to better understand daily routines, health concerns, and care needs in the home environment. From there, care planning becomes more thoughtful and realistic, not rushed or one-size-fits-all.
When someone in a family needs care, it changes more than just their day-to-day routine.
It changes the people around them.
That’s why we think about care as support for the whole family, not just one person.

How do you know when it is time for in home care?
Often the sign is not a single moment or a crisis.
It is when the caregiving slice starts taking up more space than everything else.
When care grows beyond what one person can manage alone, support can help protect your loved one and ease the weight you have been carrying.

Honored to support Hospice of Lake County at this year’s Festival of Trees. Huge thank-you to our Care Manager Erik Vogel and his wife, Elizabeth, who designed and created this beautiful tree — it sold for $750 to benefit local hospice care. ✨🎄

This year, our gratitude list looks a little different:
– neighbors who check in
– the extra 10 minutes that make mornings smoother
– caregivers who notice the small changes

– the everyday moments of comfort
From all of us at Sequoia Senior Solutions,
wishing you a warm and restful Thanksgiving!

Sequoia Senior Solutions, Inc. was founded in March, 2003 by its current owners, Gabriella Ambrosi and Stanton Lawson. The husband & wife team began offering services to seniors in Petaluma only. They worked out of the study in their home for the first few years until the volume of caregivers and clients reached a point that they needed to separate their business from their family and rented a small office space on Lynch Creek Way in Petaluma, just minutes away from their home and their three growing boys.
In 2007 Sequoia Senior Solutions, by then a company of less than 100 employees, acquired its largest competitor, Home Care Options, and overnight the company grew to over 300 caregivers. By then, its territory had grown to include all of Sonoma, Marin and Napa Counties. The acquisition of Home Care Options added Lake and Mendocino Counties to its growing service area and in 2009 Sequoia Senior Solutions expanded into Solano County as well.
Services Offered
As its name implies, Sequoia Senior Solutions offers a complete line of In-Home Care Services aimed at solving the one overriding fear that Seniors share: fear of being forced, either by their medical condition or by the insistence of their family members, to leave their homes and to move into an institutional setting, such as an Assisted Living or a Skilled Nursing Facility. We help seniors maintain the quality of life they have worked so hard to achieve, by finding innovative ways to resolve their non-medical concerns and refer them to medical providers when necessary.
From caring companionship, to end of life Hospice Care, Sequoia Senior Solutions is there.
