Dawn will be teaching her final classes at Tria this Saturday as she prepares for a move and a new chapter ahead. We’re so grateful for her thoughtful teaching, care, presence, and everything she’s brought to our community. We will miss her greatly.

Asana Labs: Standing Postures
with Julianna Takacs

An opportunity to dive deep into the foundational aspects of specific yoga poses

In this series, we will discuss and demonstrate the optimal safe alignment for the most common yoga poses, their recommended modifications, and have lots of time for individual questions and answers. These asana labs are appropriate for beginners through advanced students.

Tomorrow there is a nationwide strike.

After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to keep the studio open. We believe people still need places to process and be in community, especially right now.

In solidarity, all proceeds from tomorrow’s classes will be donated to the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund, which supports the immediate need for rights and resources in all targeted immigrant communities.

Come practice if it feels supportive. Rest if that’s what you need. However you move through the day, may it hold connection, care, and meaningful action. 🤍

The world feels heavy right now. What’s happening in our country, especially in Minneapolis, calls for our attention.

Yoga doesn’t ask us to look away. It invites us to pause, feel, and stay connected—to ourselves and to one another.

Our practice becomes a place to steady, to soften, and to build resilience so we can meet the world with care and take conscious action in the face of harm and injustice.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, tender, or just tired, know that you’re not alone. 🤍
