What an absolutely fantastic, fun-filled Halloween we had, overflowing with treats and thrills from start to finish!
We kicked off the day with some spirited exercise, getting our morning movement in with a unique Witch's Broomstick workout that was a blast for everyone. The festive energy continued as our staff and residents showed off their costumes in a Halloween Parade!
After a delicious lunch, we settled in for a special treat. Our very own resident, Cynthia, captivated us by reading a spooky story that she had written herself—a wonderful display of talent!
The thrills continued with visit
from Roswell the tarantula.
And Josie the pet therapy dog, who looked adorable in her festive costume.
We wrapped up the fun with "brainy treats" and trivia in the pub

We had a wonderful time hosting trick-or-treaters at our house this week! Seeing all the fantastic costumes brought so much joy to our residents and staff. A big thank you to every child for sharing their Halloween spirit with us!

A big thank you to our member, Spring Village at Summerhill, for sponsoring the Horse & Buggy Rides at this year’s Peak into Peterborough event on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in downtown Peterborough!

Thanks to their support, families can enjoy free horse & buggy rides from Iron Kettle Farm, running 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and departing from Depot Square. It’s a fall tradition you won’t want to miss! 🍁
