Meet the woman behind the mission: Kate McCarthy, owner and founder of Monadnock Acupuncture.💜

Fun fact: Kate didn’t originally go to school to become an acupuncture and Chinese medicine specialist. Originally, she was a writer.

When her mom began aging and struggling with her body, many doctors explained that it was simply part of aging. The door was closed, and that was that. But Kate felt aging shouldn’t be a painful and lonely experience. That’s why she went back to school for acupuncture. Today, she helps so many people feel comfortable in their bodies again, regardless of their age.

Kate has a clinic in Peterborough, NH, serving the entire Monadnock region. When she’s not at work, she’s traveling to Ireland to explore or to Guatemala to help provide medical assistance.
